Speaking of rare snare drums, i've recently developed an interest in collecting vintage snare drums. One that has really captured my imagination is the Slingerland Radio King. Just curious to know if anyone has any first hand experience with these drums and could offer any review or insights. thanks.

14x5.5" MAPEX SOLID BRONZE BLACK PANTHER SNARE DRUM! Absolutely STUNNING drum made from cast bronze which is 6mm thick and weighs 10kg!! The shell is spun cast so its perfectly round and has perfect bearing edges. RRP is 899 but Mapex NO LONGER produce this drum, so this is very rare and VERY loud! Perfect Condition. 14x6.5" MAPEX BRASS BLACK PANTHER SNARE DRUM WITH GOLD PLATING! 1.2mm brass shell with black chrome plating around the shell and gold plating on the hoops and lugs. RRP is 419. This is a beautiful looking and sounding drum. Great Condition. Price:????299
